Tactile
Showcase of a Modular Porcelain Tile System by Natálie Costantino

Designer Natálie Costantino commissioned a video project to present Tactile—a modular tile collection created for KeraVitral, a renowned porcelain manufacturer with a long tradition in Czech design. The brief was to highlight the system’s modularity, spatial qualities, and versatility, while also demonstrating its four tile types, use-cases, and available color variations in a clear yet inspiring way.
I created two videos that translated the modular qualities of the tiles into clean, atmospheric, and surreal animations. Inspired by the playfulness of Lego-like construction, modular compositions appeared and dissolved fluidly, guiding the viewer through endless possible configurations. To achieve this balance of precision and creativity, I developed smart procedural animation setups that enabled seamless layout transitions while retaining the control of hand-animated keyframing. This ensured the animations remained both technically polished and narratively engaging.

The final videos delivered an intimate, professional, and playfully explanatory showcase of Tactile, bridging abstract design storytelling with tangible use-cases. They provided viewers with the next best experience to physically handling the tiles, successfully communicating both the collection’s premium quality and its open-ended potential for customization in interior design.
